About Me

COVID-19 NOTICE: Call me to discuss how I can help during the Covid-19 crisis. Online and telephone rates are flexible and we can discuss what you can afford.

Are you looking to make changes in some part of your life or all of it?
Feeling increasingly discontent or that you can’t keep living the way you have been?
Need clarity and direction about next steps and what is possible?

I can help you answer your questions, to trust that you know what is right for you and to do what is best for you. Most people who come for therapy know what they want to change, but can’t see through the confusion and needs of others to how to do it and or to believe that they can. I can help you see the possibilities, better than you can imagine.  I want to help you take your rightful place in the world to make it a better place and to experience your life with safety, calm, joy and freedom to choose.

What I can do for you through ART.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies and has been shown to achieve benefits rapidly (usually within 3-5 sessions). Clients with depression, anxiety, panic, PTSD, grief and sexual abuse can experience remarkable benefits, often starting in the first ART session. Accelerated Resolution Therapy works directly to reprogram the way in which distressing memories and images are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions.

Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and Depression have many causes. ART works for depression and anxiety and so do many other interventions.

Relationships

When one person does something differently, opportunities are created for changes in relationships.

Trauma and PTSD

PTSD symptoms are reactions to terrifying and life threatening events which the body and brain remember with extreme distress.

Care for Seniors

If you are caring for aging parents and want guidance about how to take on this role, therapy can support you in these stressful tasks.

Life Turning Points

Therapy conversations can help you make sense of difficult transitions at all stages of life including leaving home, career choices, relationship endings, pregnancy and miscarriage, parenthood, work burnout, and retirement and end of life.

Return to work

I will help you decide if you need time off, and to make a recovery and return to work plan.
